Garza Site Privacy Notice

This notice describes the information handled when someone visits Garza County Released Inmates, sends a message, or uses an embedded search. Government records reached through outside links are governed by the agency or service that holds them, including requests under Texas Government Code Chapter 552.

Information You Submit

Search entries

A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's policy applies to its handling.

Messages

If you email or submit a contact message, we retain enough information to read and answer it. We do not share that message outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Automatic Technical Data

Ordinary server, analytics, and browser processes may record technical data when a page loads:

  • Internet Protocol address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent
  • Referring page, when supplied
  • Date and time stamps

Cookies

Cookies help measure how visitors use the pages and may support advertising or site functions. A browser can reject or remove cookies, though some tools may behave differently afterward.

How Information Is Used

Collected data may be used to keep the site available, route searches to the selected partner, understand which guides are useful, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, and present advertising that may reflect interests. We do not use a search entry to create an official Garza County record.

Links and Outside Services

Pages link to Garza Sheriff and clerk resources, TDCJ, federal and immigration locators, release records, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination's privacy policy controls. Advertising partners may use their own systems to observe activity across websites for targeted advertising.

Who May Receive Data

We do not sell personal data. Limited information may pass to:

  • Search partners that process submitted queries
  • Analytics providers that measure site use
  • Advertising networks that serve or measure ads
  • Law-enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order

Security Practices

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used. No internet-connected service, transmission, or storage system is fully secure, so we cannot promise that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.

Visitors Under Eighteen

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted data may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.

Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law and the data actually held, a person may ask for a copy, request correction, request deletion, or object to certain processing. Some information may need to be kept to satisfy legal obligations, secure the site, or resolve a valid claim. Browser controls can also limit cookies.

Changes to This Notice

This privacy notice may change as site tools or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when posted here with its new effective date.
